POWERING ON/OFF
The XS1 ON/OFF power switch is located on the backside of the device, near the bottom.
There is no need to turn the power switch off routinely after use, as the XS1 is designed to go into Sleep Mode automatically. Sleep Mode turns the screen off but still allows the device to receive software updates when available. When ready to begin use again, simply tap the screen to wake it.
Notes:
Rather than turning the power switch OFF after each use, best practice is to keep the power switch ON and simply let the XS1 go into Sleep Mode.
After each use, remove all accessories from devices and slide the two deck cable covers closed.
SLEEP MODES
Below is an overview of the different Sleep Modes, each indicated by timespan of inactivity.
LOCK SCREEN MODE
When the XS1 is powered on but inactive after 4 min (60 min during active training), device will enter lock screen mode. Tap screen anywhere to continue and unlock device with passcode. This will end any in-progress activity.
MOTOR IDLE MODE
After 5 min of inactivity, the cable motors will enter an idle state. The device will begin a pretension sequence when resuming interaction with the screen, force plate, or cables. Stay clear of cables during the pretension sequence.
SCREEN SAVER MODE
When the XS1 is powered on but inactive for 30 min, the device will enter screen saver mode. Tap screen to wake and enter device passcode to unlock and use.
