EMERGENCY STOP
BEFORE USING THE XP1: Familiarize yourself with the emergency stop procedures and the location of the Emergency Stop buttons of the XP1 before use. Emergency Stop buttons are located on each side of the XP1. When pressed, all four motors controlling the cables will immediately release tension, and the motorized Adjustable Rack Arms will stop.
To reset, twist the Emergency Stop button 90º to the right (it will slightly pop outward) before pressing Restart.
WARNING: DO NOT push the Emergency Stop button when restarting the device.
EMERGENCY BRAKE RELEASE
BEFORE USING THE XP1: Familiarize yourself with the Emergency Release pull knob located on the back panel of the XP1. This knob is to be used when the Adjustable Rack Arms must be moved in an emergency situation and the buttons are not functional, or the emergency stop has been pressed. Pulling this knob will cause the Adjustable Rack Arms to slowly fall under their own weight and allow the rack to be manually lifted or pushed down.
After the rack has been moved and the system is ready for use again, push the knob back to its original position. The system must be power cycled for proper operation.
SAFETY RACK POSTS
BEFORE USING THE XP1: Familiarize yourself with the Safety Rack Posts. The Safety Rack Posts are designed for adjustable positions. Before bench pressing exercises, insert both Safety Rack Posts into the Floor Rack Posts located on the floor inserts of the XP1. Adjust the height of each Safety Rack Post as needed.
WARNING: Safety Rack Posts must be used when performing bench presses. Adjust Safety Rack Posts accordingly. DO NOT place Safety Rack Posts below the height of the sternum. ONLY perform bench pressing exercises from inside the XP1 framework. BE CERTAIN that the Safety Rack Posts are fully engaged before use.
ADJUSTABLE SAFETY RACK POST PINS
BEFORE USING THE XP1: Pull the spring-loaded pin knob to adjust the height of the Safety Rack Posts.
WARNING: Ensure the height adjustment pin knob is locked in place before operating your XP1 to avoid serious injury.
