Similar to competing in a real-life Triathlon, the OxePlay Triathlon game consists of three dynamic activities to complete consecutively as one race: Swimming, Running, and Skiing.
Using the Force Plate,Slide Cables, and different Accessories, each activity has its own mechanics to perform in order to maneuver that segment of the race.
There is a transition phase between each segment to adjust the cables and accessories accordingly in order to position yourself ready for the next activity.
GETTING STARTED
Launch OxePlay and select the Triathlon game from the Home Screen.
Press Play to begin gameplay setup.
Choose a Track to compete or select Tutorial to learn. Select Play to proceed.
HOW TO PLAY
OBJECTIVE
Race to the finish line by completing all three activities consecutively.
SETTING UP TO BEGIN
Make sure to have the following accessories ready and nearby to complete all three segments of the Triathlon.

TRANSITIONING BETWEEN ACTIVITIES
Once you complete a segment, you will make adjustments to the cables and accessories to configure readiness for the next activity.
TIMER
The timer will continue to elapse over the course of all three activities.
Timer is active once each segment starts.
Timer is paused in between segments while you transition setup.
Activity 01
SWIMMING
SETUP
Cables – adjust Slide Cables to a lower position so they are closely aligned straight to your arms when you lay on the bench.
Accessory – attach Swim Paddles.
Bench – position multifunction bench on deck just behind the Force Plate.
GAMEPLAY
Using Swim Paddles, swing your arms forward in a continuous cycle as if mimicking the freestyle swim stroke.
Once complete, a prompt will appear telling you to prepare for next segment and the cables will automatically start to retract.
Activity 02
RUNNING
SETUP
Cables – adjust Slide Cables to a comfortable position.
Accessory – attach Handles.
GAMEPLAY
Take standing position on Force Plate while holding the Handles accessory.
Running: Run in place to move forward, taking quick, light steps as fast as you can to control the speed of your avatar.
Shifting Side to Side: When approaching obstacles in the pathway, such as walls or pits, pull the right or left Slide Cable to shift avatar to that side of the lane, avoiding obstacles by following the open path to keep up momentum.
Turns: When approaching a 90° turn in the pathway, pull and hold the same-side Slide Cable to make the turn in that direction. (In other words, follow the same mechanics as Shifting Side to Side and then keep the cable pulled until the turn is made).
Special Obstacles: These obstacles will require more advanced tactics to get passed, and you will be prompted with what to do each time you encounter them.
Door: Pull on both cables once at the same time to flip the lever that will open the door.
Pulley: Pull on both cables repeatedly to make progress turning pulley all the way until complete. Pulley will slowly retract when active pulling is not in motion.
Climbing Wall: Pull on both cables once at the same time to make each jump.
Activity 03
SKIING
SETUP
Cables – adjust Slide Cables to top position.
Accessory – attach SkiHandles.
GAMEPLAY
Speed: Pull on the Slide Cables to propel yourself forward.
Steering: Lean left and right on the Force Plate to steer direction of forward motion.
Turning: While steering left or right on Force Plate, pull the same-side Slide Cable to make a turn in that direction. (Note: This functionality is unique to Triathlon Skiing; not applicable to regular Skiing game.)
