The XS1 has a lift assistance feature called Virtual Spotter, which will help you complete a lift if you are tiring. Virtual Spotter can be configured to assist your lifts. It is best practice to have this advanced feature turned on. There are two modes for Virtual Spotter: Gradual and Instant. When gradual mode is selected, the XS1 will progressively reduce the tension by up to 20 pounds when a struggle is detected until your lift is moving again. Conversely, if instant mode is selected, the XS1 will instantly unload all tension and end your set if it detects a struggle. As a reminder, the OxeDot can also unload digital weight whenever you are tired or want to end your set.
