INTERNET REQUIREMENTS
The XP1 requires a strong and continuous connection to internet in order to access the advanced features and programs on the device.
You can connect to the internet using WiFi with a minimum download speed of 15 MBs and a minimum upload speed of 5 MBs, but higher speeds are recommended.
If the WiFi signal is weak or unavailable, you can connect an Ethernet cable to a Local Area Network (LAN). The Ethernet port is located on the back of the XP1. See image below. OxeFit does not provide an external Ethernet cable. CAUTION: The Ethernet cable must not pass under the XP1 or through the cable pulleys.
The XP1 only supports WPA2 encryption. We do not recommend the use of WiFi extenders as these devices can result in significantly slower internet speeds. If the WiFi signal is not strong enough in the planned XP1 location, we recommend the use of a mesh network or an Ethernet cable to improve the coverage.
CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET
NOTE: An admin must scan the QR code and enter credentials before selecting network settings.
1. Select your WiFi network and enter the password.
Connect an Ethernet cable to a Local Area Network (LAN) if a WiFi network is unavailable. The Ethernet port is located on the back panel of the XP1.
2. Once connected, follow the on-screen prompts to navigate to the Register Device screen.
NOTE: An admin can access the network settings by tapping the stair-step icon (the WiFi symbol) in the top left corner of the screen five times or by navigating to an admin user's account and select ADMIN SETTINGS.
