The XS1 has four cable connection points where you can connect your accessories to perform the exercises.
The first two are slide connections located on the vertical positioners, each supporting 70 pounds of digital tension or a combined weight of 140 pounds. WARNING: Never adjust the slide positions while the system is loaded.
The remaining two connection points are in the deck, supporting a combined 250 pounds of resistance. The deck connections can be found by sliding open the doors on either side of the force plate.
BARBELL: The 14-pound barbell is designed to attach to both deck connections for exercises, such as bench press, squats, deadlifts, curls, and rows.
MULTIFUNCTION BAR: The multifunction bar weighs three pounds and can be used for lat pull downs and rowing from the slide connections.
HANDLES: Each handle can be individually attached to any connection point and can be used to perform single arm exercises or combined with another handle to work both arms simultaneously or in an alternating fashion.
ROPE: The rope can be connected to either slide connections and used for chops, tricep extension, and certain row exercises.
ANKLE STRAPS: The ankle straps are attached to the slide connections and are used for leg workouts, including abduction and adduction movements.
WAIST HARNESS: The waist harness has two connection rings that can be attached to the deck or slide connections. The harness is great for exercises such as squats or weighted jumps.
SKIHANDLES: The SkiHandles connect to both slide connections for SkiCross.
ROW BAR: The row bar has a central connection point and attaches to both slide connections.
ADJUSTABLE PADDLE: When extended, the adjustable paddle is used for paddleboard exercises or can be shortened for canoeing.
MULTIFUNCTION BAR: The multifunction bar is attached to both slide connections for kayak workouts.
SURFSWIM PADDLES: Connect each SurfSwim paddle to the slide connections. Then, place your middle finger in the rubber loop of each paddle.
